Job summary

Baptist Health seeks an Echo/Vascular Sonographer III to join our team serving Talladega and Jasper, AL. This PRN role performs echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies, collaborating with physicians to support patient care.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday with 1–2 days per week, benefits start day one, and ARDMS/CCI registry credentials are preferred; registry eligibility required within 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Ability to perform both Echo and Vascular studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies.
• Obtain and document accurate patient histories and clinical information.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
