Job summary

Cedarhurst Of Wichita is seeking a PRN Dining Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will provide courteous table service, uphold cleanliness and food safety, and help create a welcoming dining atmosphere that reflects the company’s commitment to quality and resident wellbeing.

The role supports daily meal service and special events, assists with food preparation and cost control, and collaborates with team members to maintain Cedarhurst’s dining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans, and utensils used in meal preparation, following all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; dispose of trash and clean containers; and complete daily checklists to ensure kitchen and dining areas are consistently maintained.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas, including floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events, and ensure sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping are completed at the end of each shift.
• Safely operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment and utensils in accordance with safety guidelines.
