Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a PRN Consulting Dietitian at Baylor Medical Center- Plano. Schedule: As Needed with one weekend coverage per month. The role focuses on individualized nutrition plans, education, and collaboration with clinical teams in a busy hospital setting.

The candidate will assess nutritional needs, monitor progress, and stay current with nutrition research to improve patient outcomes. Texas licensure or RD eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or related field.
• RD certification or RD eligible mandatory.
• At least 1 year of clinical nutrition experience preferred.
• Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition, healthy eating, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement nutrition care protocols.
• Monitor progress and modify plans as needed.

About the Hospital: With 160 licensed beds, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Plano offers a broad range of services, including oncology, digestive disease, bariatric surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pulmonology, neurology, neurosurgery and interventional radiology.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to‑date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications

Conditions of employment may or may not include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
