Morrison Healthcare at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital is seeking a PRN Dietitian in Lake Charles, LA. You will deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Required: RD with CDR exam-eligibility and state licensure where applicable. Perks include education support and career advancement opportunities. This is a PRN, hourly position with staffing-driven hours.

Qualificações

• Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or CDR exam-eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable.

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Education: provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: apply current research in alignment with the diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

Job Summary

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
