Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Current Texas state nursing license mandatory.
Experience in long-term acute care preferred.
Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) preferred.
Critical Care experience recommended.
Effective verbal and written communication skills needed.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform and monitor hemodialysis treatments.
Assess patients' conditions before, during, and after treatment.
Administer prescribed medications related to dialysis care.
Maintain and troubleshoot dialysis equipment.
