Concerto Renal Services is seeking a PRN Dialysis Technician to join its clinical team in providing safe dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will initiate and discontinue treatments, monitor vitals, and ensure clean, compliant care settings.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least two years of dialysis technician experience with dialysis certification.

  • Minimum of two years of dialysis technician experience.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments under supervision.
  • Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vitals and patient measurements.
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and manage safety checks.
  • Document treatment details and prepare laboratory specimens.
  • Deliver patient-focused service and maintain a clean, safe environment.

The PRN Dialysis Technician functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients. Works under the supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with Concerto’s policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set for by state and federal agencies.What Will You Do?1. Direct Patient CareProvides hands-on care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments per prescribed orders.2. Vital Signs & MonitoringObtains and documents pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments, reporting any unusual findings to the nurse.3. Dialysis Machine OperationSets up, operates, and performs safety checks on hemodialysis machines; administers heparin as permitted by state law.4. Documentation & Lab WorkAccurately documents patient treatment details and prepares laboratory specimens as prescribed.5.
