David Raines Community Health Center, Inc. invites applications for a PRN Dentist to join our team. The role covers Shreveport/Bossier assignments and requires the ability to provide direct dental care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments under the supervision of the Dental Director.

Qualified candidates hold a DDS or DMD and have experience with electronic health records. They must communicate treatment plans clearly, demonstrate compassion, and be able to manage emergency calls

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited dental school with a DDS or DMD.
• Experience with electronic health records (Next Gen or similar EHR).
• Ability to communicate complex treatment plans effectively to patients.
• Ability to demonstrate care and compassion for patient comfort.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct dental care to clinic patients including examination, diagnosis and treatment according to established policy and protocol.
• Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, root canals, bridges and tooth extractions.
• Apply sealants, fluoride treatments and teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Administer anesthetics safely and maintain patient records.
• Accept emergency calls as scheduled or as needed.
• Document patient education and complete charts in a timely manner.
