Position Details

• Location: Halifax County Jail
• Open Position: PRN LPN or RN
• Schedule: PRN Days 12 hr shifts

Responsibilities

1. Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
2. Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
3. Follow through with established treatment plans
4. Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment, and critical thinking
