Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Weekend Float Outpatient CT technologist to provide diagnostic CT scans and assist radiologists in performing specialized CT procedures. You will participate in patient care, maintain radiation safety, and adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative CT team environment.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited imaging program with clinical hours, at least one year of experience, ARRT CT certification and BLS; state licensure may be needed depending on location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program with clinical hours completed.
• One year of relevant imaging experience.
• ARRT (R) (CT) certification and BLS.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologist or performing physician.
• Assist radiologist with special CT procedures (biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthrography, etc.).
• Be on call as needed and apply radiation safety principles.
• Organize daily CT schedule and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.
