Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety while maintaining ALARA principles. The role requires ensuring proper clinical history is reviewed with radiologists and accurate documentation in EMR, with flexibility to work day shifts and weekends as needed.

Minimum radiography education and ARRT CT certification within 2 years are required; trainees may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• 1–3 years CT technologist experience preferred; trainees considered.
• ARRT Radiography registration required; CT registration within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures and techniques.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate.
• Reviews clinical history with radiologist to ensure correct scan.
• Provides patient education and safety.
• Operates CT scanner and power injector to produce images.
• Documents CT procedures in EMR and ensures discharge information is provided.
