Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN position across multiple offices in Charlotte & south Sarasota Counties, FL. The role requires certification in radiologic technology and the ability to maintain quality control records, follow safety protocols, and support radiologists with exams.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, operating PACS/eRad/Athena systems, documenting procedures, and assisting with biopsies and special procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or accredited radiologic school; six months to one year related experience and/or training (preferred)
• Must hold all certifications and licenses related to scope of practice
• Proficient in computer software used for radiology (PACS, eRad, Athena)

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality control records and daily logs for modality areas.
• Understands and follows safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Obtains patient history and informed consent as required by department policy.
• Operates imaging equipment and processes images for radiologist review.
• Assists radiologists with biopsies and special procedures as needed.
• Maintains professional communication with patients and radiologists.
• Participates in staff meetings and professional development
