Job summary
Providence St. Joseph Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under radiologist direction, ensuring timely, safe service for patients.
The role requires independent judgment and adherence to radiation safety standards, with duties spanning clinical and administrative tasks within the Radiology Department. Qualified candidates graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and obtain Montana licensure, BLS, ARRT Radiography, CT or Nuclear Medicine
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure required upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT) required upon hire.
- Within 1 year of hire: NRCT-CT credential.
- Within 1 year of hire: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board credential.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
- Apply prescribed ionizing radiation in radiologic procedures with safety standards.
- Participate in department policy/procedure tasks and orientation programs.
- Assist in clinical activities including call within the department.
