Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital seeks a PRN CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. This role requires ARRT CT or Radiography certification, state licensure as applicable, and BLS, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The position is part-time/PRN, offering coverage across shifts as needed and opportunities to train as a Specialty Tech in Training based on qualifications.

Qualifications

  • ARRT RT(R) Radiography Certification/Registration or CT Certification as required.
  • State licensure where applicable.
  • BLS certification required for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains ARRT or modality competency.
  • Prepares patient and verifies identity; reviews images for quality.
  • Operates CT equipment and follows safety guidelines.
  • Provides patient education and comfort during exams.
  • Assists and mentors students/colleagues in protocols and positioning.
  • Keeps accurate records and adheres to coding and QC procedures.
