Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic exams, ensuring image quality and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting in Vail, Colorado.

The role requires ARRT CT credentials and BLS, with at least one year of healthcare imaging experience preferred. You will monitor supplies, verify exam order details, and collaborate across the care team while adhering to safety standards and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT credentials required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of healthcare imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
• Performs all Radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
• Reviews exam for technical accuracy and sends completed studies to radiologist, communicating pertinent data to care team.
• Monitors inventory and keeps exam room stocked and neat.
• Verifies patient identity and exam order details for consistency with clinical diagnosis.
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians and health care team.
• Adheres to department policies, safety, confidentiality and infection control standards.
• Uses Vail Health HIS and PACS systems for accurate documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned and remains HIPAA compliant.
