Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a PRN CT Tech to join the Radiology team in Florence, SC. The role provides quality imaging and patient care, with emphasis on clear patient explanations and competence in the procedures performed.

This position requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, SCRQSA licensure with Advanced Modality within 1 year, and BLS certification. Schedule: 8 scheduled hours per week in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 1 year of Radiologic experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA), and must obtain Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire date.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.
