Texas Oncology's Dallas Imaging and Infusion Center seeks a CT-MRI Technologist for a PRN position. The role can be level 1, 2, or Sr depending on experience, performing CT and MRI exams and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum three years experience as a CT/MRI Technologist.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist certification.
• Current IV and CPR certifications.
• CT and MRI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and MRI procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality.
• Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies.
• Escorts patients to treatment room and completes paperwork for CT/MRI services.
• Develops and processes radiologic films; logs procedures and paperwork.
• Provides protection for patient and self per safety standards.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort while under technologist care.
• Conducts daily quality control; reports malfunctions to appropriate parties.
• Arranges preventive maintenance as recommended by vendor.
• Orders, logs, and returns outside films; completes documentation.
• Maintains film loan records and patient confidentiality.
