Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Hospital in Enid, OK is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join the main OR team. The role supports the surgical team, prepares the sterile field, and handles instruments under supervision.

Qualifications

• Has completed a surgical technology program or has scrub experience.
• BLS issued within 60 days of hire.
• CST certification (NCCT-TS-C or AST-CST) preferred or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining sterile field under supervision.
• Supports surgical team needs and understands procedures.
• Checks supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloves appropriately.
• Sets up sterile tables with instruments and supplies.
• Performs instrument and sponge counts with circulator.
• Passes instruments during surgery.
• Aids in cleaning and preparing instruments for sterilization.
• Supports terminal cleaning of rooms and preparation for next procedure.
• May retrieve and transport medications (no preparation or administration).
