Position Overview

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a service-oriented Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a PRN basis at Our Lady of Lourdes Women & Children's Hospital in Lafayette, LA. This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-supported, experienced group that values autonomy, flexibility, and professional growth.

Position Highlights

1. PRN - multiple days available
2. Guaranteed hours
3. Malpractice coverage included
4. Diverse case mix: Pediatrics, OB, ENT, General Surgery, Radiology, GI/Urology, and Orthopedics (excluding Cardiac, Neuro, or Transplant cases)
5. Reasonable call schedule: 1:7 rotation with guaranteed post-call day off; call from home via beeper
6. Daily staffing includes 6 CRNAs and 1 in-house MD (12-hour shifts, 24-hour coverage)
7. Collaborative team environment with 8 CRNAs and 5 anesthesiologists

Qualifications

1. Board certification required

3. Enthusiasm for full-scope practice encouraged
