Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – PRN to join our Anesthesiology team. This role provides anesthesia care across UT Southwestern hospital and surgical locations, collaborating with anesthesia faculty within an academic medical center.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CRNA experience, graduation from an accredited nursing school, and valid Texas APRN licensure with NBCRNA certification.

Qualifications

• CRNA with minimum 1 year experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and school of nurse anesthesia (AANA).
• Texas RN/ APRN licensure and NBCRNA certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers anesthetic agents.
• Performs pre-anesthesia evaluations and plans.
• Monitors patient status in OR for safety.
• Records anesthesia information for continuity of care.
• Supervises anesthesia students as appropriate.
• Collaborates with anesthesia faculty and care team.
• Supports coverage across UT Southwestern locations.
