Job summary

South Florida Same Day Surgery Center in Pompano Beach, FL, seeks a CRNA/Anesthesiologist for PRN coverage on Monday and as-needed Friday shifts in a modern outpatient setting. You will provide comprehensive anesthesia care in collaboration with physicians and the surgical team, with a predictable weekly schedule and opportunities for additional PRN coverage.

Qualifications

• MSN in nurse anesthesia required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Active APRN/CRNA license in good standing.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Three or more years of prior experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care throughout the surgical experience.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and review medical histories.
• Develop and administer anesthesia plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor patients perioperatively using current standards.
• Manage airways and monitor respiratory status.
• Prepare anesthesia equipment and operating rooms.
• Document findings and supplement with needed diagnostics.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain knowledge of anesthesia practices and credentials.
• Complete annual training and credential maintenance.
