Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or have completed CRNA education prior to the adoption of the DNAP standard and hold the appropriate degree required at the time of their certification.
• NBCRNA certification
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license via the Nurse Licensure Compact
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia, monitor patient’s vital signs, and oversee recovery from anesthesia.
• May assist anesthesiologists, surgeons, other physicians, or dentists.
