Ochsner Health is looking for an Anesthesia Nurse to administer anesthesia during various procedures under physician supervision. This role requires a Master's degree in nurse anesthesia and APRN licensure. The nurse will work within a collaborative team, ensuring patient safety and effective communication. This job involves administering anesthesia to patients during surgical, obstetrical, and other pain-inducing procedures under the supervision of a physician. The role works within a collaborative team including residents, fellows, attendings, and staff caring for patients.

Required – Master’s degree from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
Required – None.
Required – License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.
Certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Other duties may be added or amended as necessary. The incumbent must stay informed of current laws, standards, and regulations relevant to their responsibilities, ensuring compliance.
