Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Critical Care Unit at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC. The unit handles ICU/step-down patients with a 16-bed capacity, requiring vigilance in monitoring and ventilator care.

Orientation and shifts are arranged across days and nights with a minimum 3 shifts per 6 weeks. Eligibility includes NC RN license, BLS certification, and over 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
