Job summary

Rehabcentre in Dublin, OH is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN placement. Under OT supervision, the COTA will implement individualized treatment plans and support residents in improving ADLs to promote independence.

Requirements include a current Ohio COTA license and an associate degree. Prior SNF/LTC or rehab experience is preferred, with strong documentation and communication skills essential for success in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio COTA license is required.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program is required.
• Experience in SNF/LTC or rehab settings is preferred.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress promptly.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment.
• Collaborate with care team to provide comprehensive patient care.
