Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.
• Experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy based on treatment plans developed by the OT, including activities to improve ADLs.
• Monitor patient progress and document records in line with facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families on exercises and equipment.
• Lead or assist patients with exercises and ADL tasks to promote independence.
