Job summary

Mountain View Care Center seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services in a compassionate, patient-centered setting. You will work with licensed OTs to design and implement therapy plans that promote independence and well-being.

The role is PRN in a skilled nursing facility, serving patients with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an OTA program and current NBCOT registration.
• Must hold a valid state OTA license to practice, if required.
• Experience assisting with assessments and therapy plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans.
• Conduct OT sessions, including assessments and activities to promote progress.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to engage patients in therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress, assessments, and treatments.
