Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join University Nursing Center in Upland, IN. The OT team supports skilled care under a supervisor, delivering services for residents across ASC settings.

You will provide direct therapy per the OT plan of care, monitor patient progress, document findings, participate in discharge planning, and contribute to case management while maintaining a compassionate, collaborative approach with center staff

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with valid license.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant assists in providing skilled care under the supervision of the registered occupational therapist. Able to provide services for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness Settings.

• Provide direct therapy to patients outlined in the OT's plan of care
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Collaborate with members for discharge plans
• Contribute to case management
• Maintain positive level of interaction with patients and center staff
• Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy
