Job summary

NaphCare is seeking a licensed social worker/mental health counselor (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT/LMHP, etc.) to join the Mesa County Jail in Grand Junction, CO as a PRN position. You will assess and treat residents, provide counseling, and work with security and healthcare staff to ensure safe, quality care.

Pay ranges from $35.00-$38.50 per hour, varying with licensure, site needs, and experience. This is a PRN opportunity offering flexibility and diverse clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Master's prepared Mental Health Professional with active unrestricted licensure (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT/LMHP/etc.) in Colorado.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in mental health care; correctional healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
• Perform mental health evaluations and document progress notes and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and correctional staff to ensure quality care and safety.
• Provide individual and group counseling and participate in education programs.
• Maintain compliance with ACA, NCCHC standards and site policies.
