We are currently seeking a Caregiver who is passionate about making a difference for our Barton Springs Community!

Shift Schedule: Per Diem (PRN), all Shifts, Days will vary

Qualifications:

  • One year food preparation and cooking experience including, but not limited to: grilling, sautéing, broiling, frying, and baking.
  • Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health
  • Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations
  • Ability to read and understand menus and recipes, substituting equivalents of equal nutritional value when appropriate
  • Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related diseases
  • Associates must have reliable means of transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards. This role does not require a valid driver’s license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirements

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare and serve the residents in our community
  • Ensure all dietary needs are prepared and met
  • Prepare modified food as directed
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, presentation, and timeliness of food items
  • Perform other duties as needed

Anticipated pay range: $18 - $18 USD
