Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; CNA or RN program completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompanies residents to appointments, meals, and social activities.
• Assists in activities of daily living (eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, ambulating, repositioning).
• Documents and reports resident's condition, complaints of pain, changes in patient status, refusals of care, adverse reactions, behaviors, etc.
• Lifts and turns with proper body mechanics and safe methods.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment for residents (beds, rooms, equipment).
• Takes and records vital signs, weight, and intake/output; may collect specimens.
