Job summary

Priority Management seeks Certified Nurse Aide professionals for the Brush Country Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Austin, TX. This PRN role involves direct resident care and adherence to care schedules and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, feeding, hygiene, mobility, and reporting to the charge nurse. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Assure resident safety.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep residents clean and dry, including toileting or incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
• Other duties as assigned.
