Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Enid, OK and surrounding areas is seeking compassionate CNAs and CHHAs for PRN, as-needed in-home care across Oklahoma. You will deliver personalized non-medical care to seniors and adults in their homes, with shifts offered based on client needs and availability.

Ideal candidates hold current Oklahoma CNA or CHHA credentials, are at least 21, and can reliably commute. Orientation and screenings are required; caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma CNA or CHHA certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to scheduling requests.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.
• Willingness to accept occasional assignments based on availability.
• Ability to complete required orientation, training, background checks, and screenings.
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As PRN CNA/Caregiver, provide compassionate, personalized, non-medical care in clients' homes.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands and transportation when authorized.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Follow care plans and complete required documentation.
• Provide dependable coverage for available assignments.

What You'll Do

As a PRN CNA/Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, personalized, non-medical care to seniors and adults in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

PRN Scheduling – How It Works

This position is ideal for caregivers seeking occasional or supplemental work rather than a guaranteed weekly schedule.

As part of our PRN caregiver team:

• You'll provide your availability and preferred service area.
• Our scheduling team may contact you when shifts become available.
• Assignments may include short-notice coverage, new client starts, weekend shifts, or ongoing care opportunities.
• You can communicate your availability for offered assignments.
• Hours and shift frequency will vary based on client needs.

PRN positions do not guarantee a minimum number of hours or a consistent weekly schedule.
