Job summary

The Grove at Midtown - Tulsa, OK is seeking a Part-Time Care Partner (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities, health monitoring, and companionship. This role emphasizes compassionate care in a senior living community.

You will work as part of a team, assisting with daily routines, documenting changes, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. Training and ongoing mentorship are provided, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Good verbal communication and reading/writing/speaking English with residents and coworkers.
• Licensing documentation (if required by state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor health and document changes, reporting to Wellness Team.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
• Communicate with residents, families, team members and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping as needed.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
