Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join a friendly, supportive team. You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living, and monitor health changes to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate, and completion of Iowa Medication Aide training, plus CPR certification. Prior CNA and Medication Aide experience is preferred but training is possible for the right

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate.
• Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the frontline in the Clinical Department and administer medications.
• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents and monitor changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure ongoing resident education.
