Job summary

Mission Health Communities is hiring PRN or Part Time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join our team in Kansas. As a CMA you will pass medications as prescribed, provide direct care under a licensed nurse, and uphold HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas CMA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications as prescribed by the physician and provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Observe, report, and document changes in residents’ condition, appetite, mood, or behavior.
• Uphold HIPAA requirements and facility policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Build rapport with residents, families, visitors, and team members to deliver compassionate care.
