Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Pharmacist Clinical 1 PRN to provide pharmaceutical care in a clinical setting. You will compound and dispense medications per regulations, consult with nursing, medical staff, and patients, and supervise technicians.

The role requires knowledge of drug therapies, safety and interactions, and the ability to communicate clearly. You’ll participate in neonate to geriatrics care and help with inventory and quality control as part of a dedicated

Competenze

Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work experience above minimum qualification.
Major must be Pharmacy.
Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
Pharmacist (RPH) certification/registration required.

Mansioni

Ensures patient pharmaceutical care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and customer service.
Compounds or mixes ingredients including IV admixtures following policies and procedures.
Educates patients and/or caregivers about medications and therapy options.
Reviews medications for accuracy, appropriateness and interactions; adjusts per protocols.
Dispenses medications and compounds under organizational policy and regulatory guidelines.
Supervises and monitors pharmacy technicians and ensures adequate stock levels.
Assists in inventory, purchasing and quality control of drugs.
