Job summary

Bon Secours’ Mason Service Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to participate in clinical programs 50–90% and maintain safe, cost‑effective therapy in line with applicable rules and standards. The role involves medication reviews, supporting pharmacy operations, and collaboration with the care team to enhance patient outcomes.

The position requires a BS or PharmD from an ACPE‑accredited school, active license, and a preference for advanced degrees or BCPS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required).
• Advanced pharmacy degree – Doctor of Pharmacy, Masters, Residency (preferred).
• Active pharmacist license in the state(s) where practicing (required).
• Immunization Certified (preferred).
• ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (preferred).
• Pharmacy residency or 3 years equivalent experience; BCPS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical programs to improve patient care and promote health and disease prevention.
• Perform medication reviews and medication therapy management for safe and effective use of medications.
• Support pharmacy operations in medication distribution and processing to ensure timely availability.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team and other health care professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Identify and report adverse medication events; contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Provide education to staff and serve as a preceptor for students and residents as assigned.
