Responsibilities

• Perform finger sticks, heel sticks, and venipuncture to obtain specimens for testing.
• Analyze patient specimens on hematology analyzer and prepare for transport to external labs.
• Manage specimen labeling, paperwork, and timely submission to LIS/EMR systems.
• Oversee lab operations with site and lab managers; communicate critical results to providers.
• Maintain logs for temperatures, incubators, and other equipment; ensure biosafety.
