Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, TX is seeking a Clinical Dietitian PRN to provide pediatric nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition interventions across the hospital setting.

Responsibilities include responding to consults, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, supporting enteral/parenteral nutrition, participating in rounds, collaborating with the healthcare team, and precepting dietetic interns.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics (RD/RDN).
• Licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist or eligible application required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nutritional assessments and reassessments using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Respond to consults and referrals within established timeframes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed.
• Communicate with the medical team about nutrition plans of care.
• Provide nutrition education to patients and families.
• Support enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy when applicable.
• Participate in hospital rounds and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists and other staff.
• Coordinate meals, supplements, and feeding regimens with FNS staff.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, standards, and policies.
• Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns.
