Job summary

Avery's House is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant (BHT) to support adolescents in a structured recovery housing setting. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and daily operations to maintain a supportive environment.

Candidates should be prepared for overnight PRN shifts (12-hour blocks) and meet the listed requirements, including driving duties and background checks. Training for required clearances will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License.
• Must be minimum 21 years of age.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+lbs.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred (will be required to obtain).
• Current TB test will be required to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals.
• Implement/enforce house rules.
• Transport clients with company vehicle.
• Supervise clients on outings.
• Group facilitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility.
• Ensure necessary documentation is complete.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Avery's House is a mental health treatment provider for adolescents. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and responsible Clinical Assistant (BHT). Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial. This position provides daily support to those living in Avery's House structured recovery housing.

SCHEDULES

• We are hiring PRN staff for overnight shift. We generally run 12 hour shifts 6p-6a and 7p-7a.
