Job summary

Avery's House in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Clinical Assistant (BHT) to support adolescents dealing with mental health and substance use issues within a structured recovery setting.

You will assist with daily operations, transport clients, supervise outings, facilitate groups, and ensure thorough documentation. The role requires valid Idaho driver’s license and readiness for 12-hour shifts, including days and overnights.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Idaho driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must be able to climb stairs, bending and lift 25+ lbs.
• CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged and may be required.
• TB test and enhanced clearance with Idaho Health & Welfare may be required.

• Implement and enforce house rules.

Avery's House is a mental health treatment provider for adolescents. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and responsible Clinical Assistant (BHT). Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial. This position provides daily support to those living in Avery's House structured recovery housing.

REQUIREMENTS

SCHEDULES

• We are hiring PRN staff for both dayshift and overnight. We run 12 hour shifts 6a-6p or 6p-6a and 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overnight shift

Please Note: Overnight positions are awake shifts. Staff are required to remain awake and alertthroughout the entire shift to provide continuous supervision.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)
