Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Provo, UT area in the Medical Group Clinic Float Pool. This PRN role supports flexible coverage across clinics, delivering patient care using the nursing process and collaborating with the health care team.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintain documentation, and uphold professional standards. Requires current RN license and BLS; BSN preferred; experience in coordinated care is a plus; shift-flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Valid compact licenses must transfer to the state of practice within 60 days of start date.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: BSN from an accredited institution; BSN required as of 4/27/2025.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to the care team per plan and licensure requirements.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise the plan as needed.
• Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to legal/ethical standards and documenting accurately.
