Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Indianapolis to support skilled care under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will provide direct therapy to patients per the OT's plan of care across ASC Therapies & Wellness settings.

You’ll monitor progress, participate in discharge planning, contribute to case management, and maintain positive interactions with patients and center staff while adhering to state regulations.

Qualifications

• The Occupational Therapy Assistant assists in providing skilled care under the supervision of the registered occupational therapist.
• Able to provide services for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness Settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to patients outlined in the OT's plan of care
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Collaborate with members for discharge plans
• Contribute to case management
• Maintain positive level of interaction with patients and center staff
• Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy
