Rush Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, IN on a PRN basis. The role offers per diem hours with compensation at $30 per hour.

The ATC will design rehabilitative programs for injured athletes, deliver appropriate training techniques, and coordinate emergency care when needed. PRN perks include CEUs, a nationwide support network, and a 401(k) plan after 1,000 hours.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification.
• CPR certification.
• Applicable state license where required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (taping, wrapping, bracing, hydration, minor wound care).
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record changes.
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support to reduce impact on function.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.).
