Job summary

Athletic Training Solutions (ATS) is seeking an On-Site Health and Wellness Specialist to manage wellness initiatives, provide injury prevention services, and support employee health and safety at client sites in Memphis, TN.

The role includes wellness screenings, first-aid services, ergonomic assessments, and program development with quarterly challenges and comprehensive reporting to safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Willingness to travel to various client locations (if requested).
• Knowledge of OSHA recordability and workers’ compensation (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus.
• Position may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Perform wellness screenings (BP, glucose).
• Conduct orthopedic injury assessments and musculoskeletal evaluations.
• Provide first-aid treatment and educate on injury prevention.
• Utilize Telehealth when appropriate with proper documentation.
• Develop and implement ergonomic interventions to reduce risk.
• Create and run wellness programs and quarterly challenges.
• Prepare monthly/annual reports on program utilization, costs and trends.
• Write articles for newsletters highlighting wellness initiatives.
• Provide case management and build relationships with external providers.
• Lead daily stretch-and-flex sessions and public wellness talks.
• Maintain clinic and first-aid inventory and order supplies.
