Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital in Broward County, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab EP team on a PRN basis. The RN will apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care under the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse with active licensure.
• Cath lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and provide nursing care to patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

What qualifications you will need:

• • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required
  • Needs to be experienced Cath lab RN
