Job summary

Join Silverado in Glendale, Wisconsin, as a caregiver in memory care, where you'll provide compassionate support for individuals with neurodegenerative conditions. You will assist with daily activities and build meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care preferred but not required.

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable around animals and pets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
• Paid training and strong internal mobility

Anticipated pay range

$16 - $20 USD
