Job summary

Synergy HomeCare is seeking compassionate, dependable PRN Caregivers (Shift Officers) to join our growing team. This role supports clients in their homes, fills open shifts, and helps with urgent coverage needs, ensuring continuity of care and high-quality support.

Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and able to respond to changing schedules. Experience in home care preferred, with CNA a plus; valid driver's license and transportation are required.

• Previous caregiving or home care experience required.

• Flexible availability, including weekends or evenings when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Mobility assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Transportation and errands, if needed.
• Accurately document client care and report concerns.
• Be available for flexible scheduling and occasional last-minute shift coverage.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent communication with clients, families, and office staff.
