Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital seeks a PRN Cardiovascular Perfusionist to join our team of 4 full-time perfusionists and 3 cardiac surgeons. The role covers ECMO shifts and backup perfusion in the OR, with cases including CABGs, valves, and LVADs. At least 2 years of experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited perfusion program.
• Entry-Level Perfusionist experience acceptable.
• Georgia provisional license required by law.
• BLS required. ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• The safe and effective management of extra-corporeal support for surgical repairs to the heart and great vessels under the supervision of the Chief Perfusionist.
