Qualifications

• High School Graduate with 4 years of cardiac ultrasound clinical experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer; minimum 4000 echocardiograms performed.
• Preferred graduates from accredited cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography programs; health science degrees welcome.
• Required BLS/CC or RDCS/ARDMS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Adapt protocols to patient variability and communicate clearly with patients and physicians.
• Maintain equipment logs, ensure safety and quality, and participate in education and peer review.
